RE: KS3 Family Book Club

We are delighted to invite you and your child to join our new KS3 Family Book Club — a relaxed, once-a-month gathering designed to bring families together through the joy of reading.

We know that life is busy and that connecting with school events can sometimes feel challenging. That’s exactly why this book club has been created: a gentle, welcoming space where parents, carers, and students can enjoy a shared activity without pressure or expectations. Whether you’re an avid reader or someone who hasn’t picked up a book in a while, you will be warmly welcomed.

Families will receive a free novel or graphic novel to read together. At our meetings, we’ll chat about the story, share thoughts, and enjoy some light refreshments. There’s no homework, no tests — just a friendly opportunity to spend time together, meet other families, and help build a positive reading culture in our community.

Our first meeting will take place on Thursday 26^th February in the library at 3.15pm - 4pm.

We would love to see as many families as possible join us.
