Bexhill Academy will be holding a Remembrance Service at St Stephen’s Church, Down Road at 2pm on Friday 9 November with Year 7's.
Year 7 students will be attending this event. The students will have an early lunch on that day and will then be walked to the church in time for the service to start at 2pm. The service will finish at 3pm, at which point there will be tea and coffee available for those that wish to stay. Parent/carerss are also welcome to attend the event, but please be advised that the church will be quite full, so a slightly early arrival is advised.
Your child will be dismissed from the church at the end of the service, and will then need to make their way home from there.
The service will include a mixture of musical performances, drama, readings and songs. I am confident it will be an uplifting and poignant experience for the students which will help them to understand the meaning and importance of Remembrance Day.
Students need to return the reply slip in the Trip Box located at the student entrance to the school - letters are being sent home this week - slips are due back no later than 2 November 2018.
Thank you for your support.
