This workshop is an exciting opportunity for the students; the facilitator has previously acted in a number of plays at Shakespeare’s Globe theatre in London. The workshop is completely free of charge to the students and will be focussed on Romeo and Juliet which they are currently studying (for most of them it will also be their G.C.S.E text). I cannot express what an amazing opportunity this is and each student has been selected individually for their motivation and engagement in English.

The theme of this year’s Anti-Bullying Week is “All Different, All Equal”. The aims of this year’s National Anti-Bullying Week are to: • empower children and young people to celebrate what makes them, and others, unique • help children and young people understand how important it is that every child feels valued and included in school, able to be themselves, without fear of bullying • encourage parents and carers to work with their school and talk to their children about bullying, difference and equality • enable teachers and other children’s workforce professionals to celebrate what makes us ‘all different, all equal’ and celebrate difference and equality. Encouraging them to take individual and collective action to prevent bullying, creating safe environments where children can be themselves
