All In-Year Admissions to Bexhill Academy will receive a tour from our Communications Officer prior to starting at the Academy, giving the opportunity for parents/carers and students to experience the learning environment and ask any questions about our community.
The Admission Interview will take place with the House Assistant Principal and Pastoral Manager. It would be helpful if you could bring to the admissions interview any paperwork such as previous school reports. During the interview we will be finding out about the student’s educational and pastoral experiences to enable Bexhill Academy to create a bespoke admissions package that meets the needs of your child. This may include working with our SEND team and other outside agencies where appropriate. All students will have literacy testing as part of the admissions procedure. You will receive an admissions pack, including our Handbook, some of which must be returned prior to your child’s admission date. This is also your opportunity to ask any further questions.
Parents/Carers of students arriving at Bexhill Academy during the academic year will be invited to one of our coffee mornings to meet our Pastoral Team and find out more about the Academy.
