As part of our fundraising work at Bexhill Academy, the last day of term (Friday 5 April 2019) will be a Mufti Day. The proceeds of this event will go towards MIND, a charity that supports individuals with mental health problems, and the academy’s five nominated house charities. Our successful fundraising events last year saw over £3000.00 go to worthwhile causes, including Sussex Air Ambulance Service and Guide Dogs for the Blind.
The cost of each ticket is £1.00 and can be purchased from the House Offices from Monday 1 April and on the door on Friday 5 April. Students will be allowed to wear their own clothes.
There will also be a Charity Fayre taking place during the break time on this day, including fun games, activities and cake sales. The Academy day will finish at 1.00pm, when students will be dismissed. The Academy restaurant will be open for students during the morning selling a range of hot and cold food items. If you are unable to make arrangements for your son/daughter to leave the Academy at this early time, please contact Tracey Holden (Parent Communications Officer) to ensure alternative arrangements can be made.
Please note that students will return to the academy after the Easter break on Tuesday 23 April 2019.
Let’s make this an enjoyable day and raise money for a great cause!
